Temperature data in Kalimantan are limited and do not provide complete data for all the years. Thus, temperature from satellite product was used to create a temperature database. Temperature is monitored from AQUA - Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Land Surface Temperature products measured during the night and during the day.

The data are available every 8 days from 2002 to the present at 1km spatial resolution. The data can be accessed via the IRI Data Library.
